Calvin Harris Releases “Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 “Potion” Featuring Dua Lipa and Young Thug
Calvin Harris returns after a five-year hiatus with “Potion,” the first single off his highly anticipated Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 featuring Dua Lipa and Young Thug. Harris is working with both musicians for the second time. Calvin previously teamed with Dua Lipa on their breakout single “One Kiss,” which topped global charts and was the best-selling record in the UK in 2018.
Harris teamed with Young Thug on the track “Heatstroke” for the inaugural edition of the Funk Wav Bounces project in 2017. (which also features Pharrell and Ariana Grande). Calvin’s longtime creative partner Emil Nava’s surreal music video for “Potion” reintroduces the intensity of Funk Wav Bounces, establishing the framework for Calvin’s busy summer.
