Burning Man Is Unable To Happen As Planned But Virtual Burn Is A Go!

Burning Man is unable to happen as planned in 2021, but Virtual Burn is a go! For the second time, Burners will be welcomed into the virtual Playa, featuring 3D art and immersive experiences, performances and conversations. The event aims to provide a space for connection, creative collaboration and celebration — just as the IRL gathering has done year after year.

The teaser below shares an inside look of what to expect, complete with breathtaking views, vibrant light shows, immaculate stages and much more. Features include The Infinite Playa, Dusty Multiverse, SparkleVerse and Build-A-Burn, where attendees can create their own camp and art displays.

The community is what will make Virtual Burn a success, as Burning Man shares:

Just like Black Rock City, the Worlds of the Virtual Burn depend on folks like YOU to co-create the magic we all enjoy in the virtual dust. our creativity, collaborative energy, and passion for the 10 Principles will bring the best of Burning Man culture to these amazing experiences.

Virtual Burn goes down August 22 through September 7, 2021 and can be accessed via VR headset, desktop computer, or mobile device.
