Too many sites have already closed in 2018, but here’s another one in case you think the year is over. Denver’s Beta Nightclub long regarded as one of the country’s best bass music venues, has announced Saturday, January 5, 2019 to be its last night.
In the statement communicated on social media a few moments ago, no specific reason for closure was mentioned. However, the growing competition from other clubs in the area, especially Temple Nightclub, could not have made things easier.
Our mission statement has always been simple. The club’s culture is evolving. When we made the decision to end the Beta Nightclub, we reflected on this mantra and what it has become. We want to honor what we have decided to do, pay tribute to our DJs for their dedication to their craft, pay tribute to our staff and promoters for their dedication and, most importantly, pay tribute to our fans who have shared their precious time with us. It is with this reflection that we recognize the need to take the necessary time to reset, recalibrate and familiarize ourselves with our promise again. Our reputation reflects our integrity and we want to stay true to what we stand for.
