The bunkers served as a reserve of firearms and military ammunition by the Polish army in the mid-1920s. Later, the site was taken over by the Soviets after the Second World War. The architects kept the bunkers during the restoration of the premises, which now belong to the inhabitants of the houses above.

Inspired by military history, one of the residents converts a bunker into a stunning steampunk themed cellar. Originally a dream of the fathers of a young family, the wine cellar is now a reality that allows the owner to escape from reality itself. The interior wonder was designed by Gabija Pažarskytė, interior design studio of Dizaino Virtuvė.

The wine cellar is an impressive 30 m² vault that resembles the interior of a submarine and has rustic features such as metal seating, a metal basin, exposed pipes and nautical details. The central piece includes an imaginary human 3D cyborg figure made of copper metal.

Metal arches trace the vaulted ceiling of this space from another world. There is a bar where you can be swept away by the alcohol and the dark, dark atmosphere that finds a way to breathe its charm.
