Aminé just released his latest single “Places + Faces” along with an accompanying music video. Though the release is labeled as a freestyle, it’s far from that, as the American-Ethiopian artist’s performance leans more towards singing than rapping. Bringing an uplifting vibe to the table, Aminé talks about his new-found life of fame, touring the world, and missing his family back home.
Aminé got his major break in 2017 with his single “Caroline,” which peaked at number 11 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. He kept the momentum and proved he’s not a one-hit-wonder, releasing his commercial debut album Good For You in 2017, which featured Ty Dolla $ign, Nelly, Offset and more, followed by ONEPOINTFIVE in 2018. “Places + Faces” marks Aminé’s first single of the year.
